I have an extensive background in advertising. I went to the best branding and advertising school in the country, and then I went on to work with lots of amazing brands like Carvana, Denver Zoo, Silk Almond Milk, Toshiba Canvio, Colorado Lottery, Keystone Resort, Vail Resort, Spectrum Reach, and many others.

Working from creative concepting to execution across channels and platforms, I’ve art-directed TV commercials, print ads, billboards, wall murals, and social media ads.

In doing so, I’ve been able to collaborate with and art direct many other creatives, including copywriters, motion designers, video editors, production designers, illustrators, photographers, and directors.

I’ve designed packaging and done product development, mostly for home fragrance, home décor, beauty, and self care products, for the past fifteen years.

I’ve done packaging design work for so many lovely brands like Amazon, Madewell, Capri Blue Candles, Altar’d State, Home Goods, HATCH Mama, and many others.

For eight years, I taught advertising and branding classes that I ran like agencies. I assigned hypothetical briefs, clients, and objectives, and I guided students through the process of conceptualizing and designing branded elements, print ads, commercials, and digital ads. 

I provided creative leadership, structure, motivation, and constructive feedback and helped my students to create book-worthy campaigns. Many of my former students have gone on to work at companies like Johnson & Johnson, Who What Where, Curio, and advertising agencies like Big, Maris West & Baker, Mad Genius, MWB, and Mabus Agency.

I also developed a business plan and secured funding for a student agency within the College of Architecture, Art + Design at Mississippi State University. I built a team of designers from scratch and guided them as they established a brand identity and helped them to begin securing paying clients.

These days I’m an Associate Creative Director at an advertising agency that does lots of award-winning tourism work.
