I helped them go from The Secret Coast (after all, what tourist spot really wants to be a secret?) to the more active (and more fun!) Play Coastal Mississippi.
The new logo is an ode to the artsy feel of Coastal Mississippi, with hand-drawn lettering that’s playful yet refined, and a subtle wave that’s a nod to the landscape.
I was able to help rebrand Coastal Mississippi as a place to Play Coastal. I also conceptualized and creative directed a new ad campaign that told potential visitors to take a stand and tell real life to take a hike—at least for a while— go have some fun, for fun’s sake.

No matter how we live our lives, there are those things that keep us on-task and working: To-Do lists, grocery lists, timesheets, the list goes on. In this campaign, we meet people who’ve finally had enough with all the have-to-do’s. This campaign is a welcome invitation for each of us to take a stand and tell real life to take a hike—at least for a while—and go have some fun, for fun’s sake.
We also did a mini campaign just for Gulf Fresh Mississippi Seafood, sponsored by Coastal Mississippi.
