post-production: the editing process

codec: the method a computer uses to determine the amount of change between frames of a video

resolution: the number of horizontal and vertical pixels your video contains (like 1280x720 or 1920x1080), often referred to by only the amount of pixels that appear vertically (720p or 1080p, respectively)

color correction: when an editor digitally manipulates colors in post-production

montage: a rapid succession of images to illustrate an association of ideas

sync (synchronization): aligning the audio with the visual

compression: reducing the amount of data in a video file (for faster uploads)

color grading: when an editor digitally manipulates colors in the editing process (usually to give each scene an intended visual tone and to keep some consistency when cutting from shot to shot)

lower third: a combination of text and graphical elements placed in the lower area of the screen to give the audience more information

end card: a graphic at the end of a video (usually a commercial or branded content) that provides a call-to-action and/or logo and tag line
